The Betty Ford Center is a non-profit organization committed
to working with others in order to train, educate and inspire
them to help all those in need to begin to recover from
the disease of alcohol and other drug addiction.

We believe there is a need to educate teachers,
coaches, law enforcement officials, nurses, therapists
and other professionals working with alcoholics and
addicts. |
| Summer Institute for Medical Students |
The Summer Institute for Medical Students (SIMS)
is a unique learning experience for medical students
to gain understanding and insight into addictive disease
and the recovery process. |
| Women's Addiction Symposia |
The Betty Ford Center and Caron
Treatment Centers present two women’s
symposia each year.
The Women’s Addiction
Symposium is a one-day conference offered at various
locations across the country that celebrates recovery
for women and the professionals who serve them. |
| Alcohol Awareness Hour |
10-week Community Education Program of lectures
by leading addiction professionals on Saturday mornings
from January – April at the Eisenhower Medical
Center’s Annenberg Center |
